Mistakes of Yesterday

We greet the morn
Of each day born
As all men and women before us have
With head held high,
Resolved to try
The thing we failed once more.

Don't try to see to what degree
We failed - in what amounts;

For Yesterday
Has gone it's way,
Today's the one that counts.

As each day starts,
Within our hearts
This rule let's all obey;
Just that we let
Each on forget
